I work in the Mining and metal industry with experience in Maintenance Heavy Equipment.

What are your strengths as a skilled worker in the mining and metal industry?

Co-operation,Co-ordination, Co-operated ,M&R Electric, Engine, Repairing of Air conditioners,  In-line and TX-Valve system  are my strengths.

What inspired you to get into the mining and metal industry?

The working environment was inspiring to me and the mining and metal industry seemed highly opportunistic.

What is the most challenging aspect within the mining and metal industry?

The repetition of work sometimes can be challenging.

How do you manage to overcome these challenges found within the mining and metal industry 

Analysing the issue at hand and planning both allow for improvement.

What has been the highlight of your career since you started working in the mining and metal sector?

All my achievements put together.

If somebody starts as a trainee / beginner within the mining and metal industry, what could they earn in salary?

Roughly $60.000.00 a year

What can this person expect to earn after 10 years of experience?

$120.000.00 a year.

What advice can you offer people who work in the mining and metal industry?

ALWAYS keep safe. Keep  motivated and keep your spirit unlimited.

As you know, numerous African countries are being invested in due to their rich minerals. Which country within Africa do you think will be the next hot spot and why?

TANZANIA – because the country’s economy is rapidly developing.

YES because in Africa the mining and metal industry is huge and most African countries are politically stable.
