Job Description:

Our client, an international logistics and freight forwarding company, is seeking a Project Logistics Cargo Manager to support mining and industrial projects across Guinea. Based in Conakry, the successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Mining Manager in Europe to deliver complex logistics solutions for mining clients. This role requires a strong operational background in project cargo, freight forwarding, and heavy-lift logistics, combined with the ability to engage directly with customers and coordinate project execution from planning through delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project logistics for mining and industrial cargo movements.
• Coordinate heavy-lift, breakbulk, oversized, and project freight operations.
• Develop logistics solutions tailored to client project requirements.
• Liaise with customers, contractors, shipping lines, and service providers.
• Support commercial activities by preparing technical logistics solutions and quotations.
• Monitor project schedules, risks, costs, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Work closely with regional and international stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, or project cargo operations.
• Mining, EPC, heavy-lift, or industrial project experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding and multimodal transport.
• Experience managing complex logistics operations within Africa is advantageous.
• English required; French language skills are highly preferred.
• Experience within the maritime shipping or port logistics sector is highly essential.
