One of CA Mining’s client is currently seeking a Supply Chain Training Officer professional who can set up a training program for their supply staff. The role will be based at their open cast mining operation in North Africa.
Supply Chain Training Officer Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Training Officer needs to develop a training program to ensure constant progression and improvement in the supply team. The candidate would need to establish relevant training material, monitor and asses training progress an advise staff on promotions and development. They need to be able to identify hazards in supply areas and conduct training with senior supply staff and also promote healthy and safety standards within the company. The Supply Chain Training Officer would need to create PowerPoint presentations and be able to create and maintain SOP.
Supply Chain Training Officer Requirements: Qualification and Skill
The suitable Supply Chain Training Officer candidate needs to have a tertiary qualification in supply, purchasing, warehouse management and certification in skills auditing. The ideal Supply Chain Training Officer candidate should have atleast 15 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics. Mining industry experience is essential and so are demonstrated skills in safety, risk awareness, planning, warehouse concepts, forklift operating. Knowledge of supply software is also required
Supply Chain Training Officer Contractual information:
The Supply Chain Training Officer will be on a FIFO rotation. This is a 2 year contract with option to extend for 1 year and is a single status Supply Chain Training Officer position.
