Tell us a little about yourself?
I grew up in a small town in the Eastern Cape, and spent time in London and Johannesburg before moving to Cape Town, I have been working in recruitment for about 7 and half years. I am an avid cyclist, and on occasion pretend to play golf.
Job title + Areas of expertise?
I am a Senior Executive Recruitment Consultant for CA Mining. My main focus is on Geology, Metallurgical Process Engineer and Exploration projects.
Why choose to work at CA Global?

Academic background?
I studied a BA Degree in Philosophy, Politics and History at Rhodes University

I have a remarkable ability to remember useless facts, so I would make a great quiz team member!
Who is your role model and why?
Not sure about a role model, but someone I admire is cricketer AB de Villiers. He is continuously innovating and improving his skills to become better, which a hugely important trait to have
Advice for clients/candidates?
For clients: try to be as detailed as possible with your requirements. The more information we have, the more accurately we can match the correct candidates.
For candidates: patience is key. Feedback often requires input from numerous people within a company, but we will get back to you.
Which country within Africa do you think will be the next hot spot and why?
With the political changes in Zimbabwe, there is already a big increase in investment in the mining sector. With so much of the mineral wealth still unexplored ,there is huge potential for the Zimbabwean mining industry to grow.
What is your outlook within your industry over the next 5 years?
With the huge growth in electric cars, graphite and lithium will be the minerals with the biggest investment over the next 5 years and longer

Given the abundance of resources in Africa, and the attitude of its people, Africa has the potential to grow from strength to strength.
