One of CA Mining’s clients is in need of a Maintenance Superintendent with a Government Certificate of Competency in Mines & Works to join their team on site.
Maintenance Superintendent Responsibilities
The Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for all maintenance management of smelter equipment. They will also be developing maintenance strategies and process improvement initiatives and managing, mentoring and training subordinates. The Maintenance Superintendent needs to ensure that safety standards are adhered to and need to assist with cost control and budgeting.
Maintenance Superintendent Requirements
The ESSENTIAL qualification that the Maintenance Superintendent needs to have is a qualification and Skill GCC (Government Certificate of Competency) Mines & Works. The Maintenance Superintendent needs to have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Diploma or Degree with 8 years previous experience in process plant maintenance, of which at least 3 must be at a senior level. The candidate should have 5 years previous experience in the maintenance of smelters. Knowledge of SAP highly advantageous.
Maintenance Superintendent Contractual information
The position of Maintenance Superintendent is permanent. Relocation will be required for the candidates outside the area. Maintenance Superintendent EE candidates are encouraged to apply.
