Job Description:

Ideal candidate will bring leadership, management and business development experience to continue to grow the business electrical infrastructure practice. The right candidate will have the ability to help develop and grow the people, services and market for the group in concert with company objectives. This role will form part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall design capability of the team. The position is project focused and involves engineering design for the mining, minerals processing and utility sectors

Responsibilities:

• Engineering and design electrical and instrumentation reticulation pertaining to process equipment according to project specifications
• Estimating, selecting and procuring equipment and material as per project and client requirements and specifications
• Inspecting, testing and verifying all electrical equipment confirms to the approved electrical design documentation
• Commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems according to project-based control and commissioning procedure to ensure system integration and correct functionality
• This position will provide the opportunity to develop skills working in a pro-active, friendly team environment that specializes in innovative electrical engineering design
• You will also be supported to take on challenges and develop your career path working with a team of specialized electrical engineers offering a diverse range of experience

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• BSc, BEng or B. Tech in Engineering or National Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Minimum of 10 years design experience in the mining and minerals processing industry
• Site experience construction and commissioning
