Job Description:

The Planning Supervisor will oversee maintenance planning and scheduling for the Caterpillar fleet, ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimizing downtime. This role will be critical in maintaining equipment reliability through effective planning strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for all Caterpillar mining equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of work orders.
• Manage parts and inventory to support planned maintenance activities.
• Utilize maintenance management systems (CMMS) for planning and reporting.
• Monitor work progress and adjust plans as needed to align with operational priorities.
• Analyze equipment history to optimize preventive maintenance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance policies.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Planning, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning within mining or heavy equipment industries.
• Strong understanding of Caterpillar equipment and maintenance processes.
• Proficiency in CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote mining environment.
