Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Engineering Manager who will oversee workshop operations and resources for the business (Micro Plant Processing Operations) with a hands-on best worked-culture attitude practice of QSHE.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring quality services and satisfaction to the operations.
• Introducing advanced methodologies for efficient repair & maintenance of assemblies & subassemblies to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Improve where necessary the Engineering infrastructure.
• Identify ways to reduce dependency on external agencies/outsourcing.
• Processing proposals for replacing assemblies or subassemblies which are beyond economic repairs, to save costs.
• Ensuring optimum utilization of available resources for achieving desired target with proper care to safety and environment.
• Identifying processes that minimize maintenance cost, maximize availability and capacity utilization of machines.
• Ensuring compliance to safety measures.
• Coordinating with different areas and HQ for repair & replacement of machineries.
• Preparing budget and action plan for the Engineering Department and projects.
• Ensuring availability of resources required to perform various jobs.
• Developing innovative capabilities among workshops.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Previous experience in a workshop essential, with at least 8 to 15 years management experience.
• Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Science Engineering/Mechanical.
• MSc in Mechanical Engineering or any job-related MSc Engineering program will be an added advantage.
• Professional Licensing or Certifications like ISO, PMP, 9001, PCN, CE, EN1090 will be an added advantage.
• Strong heavy machinery and processing plants experiences are essential.
• Willing to live and work in remote locations.
• Flexibility and a willingness to engage in, and lead company cultural values.
• Good management and leadership skills.
