Responsibilities:  

• Welding repairs and inspection of equipment.
• General metal fabrication, equipment design and modification.
• Trouble shooting and diagnosis of equipment faults.
• Disassembly and assembly of machinery and components.
• Routine workshop and field servicing of all equipment.
• Efficiently complete all maintenance administration requirements.
• Apply all safety management system requirements as they relate to your work.
• Operate various metalworking tools and machinery.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in boilermaking, preferably in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Trade Qualification – Boilermaker or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair metal structures and equipment.
