What industry do you work in?
I am a fresh graduate searching for jobs in Africa. I have just completed my graduation and am searching for Petroleum and Mining Engineering jobs. I graduated from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh; which is the largest science & technology university in south Asia. Very recently I have achieved a Professional Qualification “Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA)” from ISCEA, U.S.A & have performed various professional training like Industrial Training, Quality Management Training, Implementation of ISO 9001 etc.
What are your strengths?
I always believe & rely upon my confidence & inner potential. Every thing that seems possible for me at first glace I always make it fruitful. “None is impossible for me which is possible for a man”- I always remind that.
What inspired you to get into this sort of industry?
From the very beginning of my university life I was interested with my subject & it’s prospect. Petroleum Engineering is a leading subject in the world & it seemed interesting to me. So I decided to study in this subject.
What is the most challenging aspect within your field of work?
From my four years of study I think Exploration, Drilling & Reserve estimation are the most challenging tasks for an engineer. These are interesting too.
How do you manage and overcome these challenges?
As I have not any field experience overcoming of these challenges should be described in theoretical aspects. But in practical tasks are much more derivative from theory. But I am confident of taking the challenges.
What has been the highlight of your career?
I like to take challenges. I always prefer to serve in a responsible position of a well structured organisation through highest level of professionalism.
What can this person expect to earn after 10 years of experience?
After ten years it might be $20000- $25000 per month.
What advice can you offer people who are in the same industry as you?
My advice is always should try to be sincere & dedicated in own field.
