Job Description:

An International company specializing in mining software is looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager for their Johannesburg branch. This role will play an important role in the company’s growth throughout Africa. The role will be responsible for business development and account management of both new and existing clients



  • Present and sell the company’s products, together with additional services, including; training, product support, implementation and maintenance
  • Identify potential new customers
  • Participate in marketing events such as trade shows, seminars and product launches
  • Follow up on leads and referrals from marketing events
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional support and products to existing clients


Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • 10 years’ sales experience, preferably in either the IT or mining sectors
  • In depth knowledge of mining software highly advantageous
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stake holders
  • Proven track record in identifying potential clients and to build a significant sales pipeline, including cold-calling when required
